Retraced transforms supply chain transparency into a strategic advantage for fashion and textile companies.
Our AI-first platform acts as collaborative data infrastructure for sourcing, supplier lifecycle management, compliance and sustainability. It combines multi-tier supply chain mapping, risk management, CAPA management, and supplier collaboration tools in one system, with Digital Product Passports to connect consumers, too.
Real-time insights help brands navigate trade volatility, meet compliance expectations, and build resilient, sustainable supply chains. Trusted by over 150 brands and 25,000 suppliers worldwide, including SKIMS, Samsøe Samsøe, Calzedonia, and Marc O'Polo. Ready to build intelligent systems that drive real industry transformation?
At Retraced, you’ll join an ambitious Product & Technology team building an AI-first SaaS platform that powers transparent, compliant, and resilient supply chains. As a Product Engineer, you’ll help shape the technical foundation of our platform, working across the full stack and owning production-grade AI systems end-to-end.
You won’t just ship features. You’ll design systems that are measurable, reliable, and continuously improving — combining deterministic software engineering with probabilistic AI workflows.
If you thrive at the intersection of product thinking, full-stack engineering, and AI systems — and want your work to power real-world sustainability impact — then read on.
What you will do
Full-stack product development: Design, build, and ship backend services, APIs, event-driven systems, and frontend components using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
LLM-powered features: Design and implement AI-driven workflows, including prompt-based systems, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and hybrid deterministic/AI architectures from prototype to production.
System correctness & reliability: Architect systems with clear failure modes, observability, and testing strategies for both deterministic and probabilistic behavior. Ensure production-grade robustness and minimal regressions.
Evaluation & monitoring: Define and track success metrics for AI functionality (quality, latency, cost, user impact). Build monitoring pipelines, offline and online evaluation loops, and structured feedback systems.
Continuous improvement: Use user feedback, structured data, and automated evaluation to systematically improve AI outputs over time.
Ownership from intent to production: Translate product requirements into technical solutions, deliver production-ready pull requests within sprint timelines, and ensure acceptance criteria are fully met.
Technical direction & collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Technology and Product leadership to shape roadmap decisions, define technical priorities, and lay foundations for long-term scalability.
Internal tooling & scalability: Contribute to shared infrastructure, developer productivity, CI/CD improvements, and production observability.
What’s in it for you?
